Outdoor saunas have been part of the Freixanet Wellness catalogue for a long time, so they are not a novelty in themselves. What is notable about the new YARD model is a new way of designing outdoor saunas so they can be adapted to any space and budget.
The YARD model consists of a modular cubic structure with customizable measurements. The sauna is fully integrated, leaving a free “porch” area, which creates a very cozy corner in any garden or terrace.
The inside cladding is in Canadian hemlock wood, presented in a very aesthetically pleasing slim horizontal slat design. The glass corner allows us to admire the sauna from outside, as well enjoying clear views during our wellness session.
The exterior cladding is a key feature in this type of cabin, given that it must guarantee total resistance to extreme weather conditions. For this purpose, YARD offers two options: Treated fir tree panels or WELLPRO® cladding, a Freixanet Wellness trademark construction system. Likewise, the roof (slanted shed roof) is reinforced and receives a special waterproof treatment.
Finally, regarding equipment, YARD includes a high performance heater and control panel with double safety thermostat.
