Yurbban Trafalgar is the first hotel for the Barcelona-based Yurbban Hotels chain, a new concept of modern urbanite accommodation. The Trafalgar hotel has recently opened a spa area installed by Freixanet Wellness.
The hotel opened in 2014. Its unique interior design, high technology and mingling areas allow guests to enjoy an ideal environment for plunging into the life of the city and discovering its every corner—like a true Barcelona local.
Specifically in the Heat Experience area Freixanet Wellness has equipped the hotel with a boutique sauna, lined inside with hemlock panels and outside with fir panels, equipped with high-performance heater and special speakers; a WELLPRO® steam bath perfectly adapted to the available space; and a shower area to enhance the temperature contrast between sauna and steam sessions. Aesthetically, all aspects have been thoroughly studied. For example, the locker cabinetry boasts an elegant black lacquered look.
More importantly, in the water area a majestic leisure pool stands out as one of the hotel’s main attractions. It has different dynamic elements, such as a waterfall, jets at various heights and a relaxing massage bench built into the structure itself.
No wonder Yurbban Trafalgar is considered without a doubt one of the top urban spas in recent years.
